United Nations Security Council Resolution 465 (1980)
A resolution adopted unanimously by the United Nations Security Council on 1 March 1980. Recalling previous resolutions on the subject of Israeli settlements, the resolution endorsed the report of the commission established per Resolution 446, deplored Israel's actions in the territories occupied in 1967 including (East) Jerusalem, constituting a violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention; requested Israel to cease construction in the settlements and dismantle existing construction; called upon the international community not to assist Israeli settlement efforts; and asked the commission to continue its work.
