A resolution adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 14 December 2006 by a vote of 157 For, 9 Against, 14 Abstaining, 12 Absent. The resolution denounced Israeli activities in the Palestinian Territories, including settlement activity and construction of the West Bank Separation Barrier, called for the partial dismantling of the Barrier in line with the 2004 ICJ Advisory Opinion, and called on both sides to adhere to international law and existing agreements.
