A resolution adopted by the Government of Israel under Prime Minister Ariel Sharon on 20 February 2005, subsequent to GOI Resolutions 2077 and 883. The resolution stresses the importance of the continued construction of the West Bank Separation Barrier as an effective means to protecting Israel and its citizens and approves the modified route in the attached map. It stresses once more that the barrier does not constitute a border and that every effort will be made to minimize disruption of Palestinian lives. It also authorizes the Ministerial Committee on National Security to make any necessary adjustments in the barrier route.
