A letter written by "representatives of the inhabitants of Western Galilee", submitted to the chairman of the Conciliation Commission for Palestine via the Syrian delegate to the Commission on 25 February 1950. The authors claim to be refugees from the western Galilee, currently residing in Syria and Lebanon, and request that this territory be annexed to Syria. They base their claim on "the partition scheme [UNGA Resolution 181], international law, and the natural rights", claiming that this would assist in relieving the problem of Palestinian refugees, in accordance with UNGA Resolution 194.
