United Nations General Assembly Resolution 303 (1949)
A resolution adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 9 December 1949 by a vote of 38 For, 14 Against, 7 Abstaining. Pursuant to Resolutions 181 and 194 and the reports of the Conciliation Commission for Palestine, the resolution reiterated the principle that Jerusalem should be administered by the United Nations as a corpus separatum, with special measures put in place to ensure the protection of holy sites.
