Liv Halperin is the Director of Research and Policy at the Economic Cooperation Foundation (ECF). She is also a member of the Swiss Women in Peace Processes network.
 
Liv previously worked for the Swiss Department of Foreign Affairs, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the International Committee of the Red Cross and various NGOs in Peru, Mozambique, Angola, Haiti, Colombia, Israel/Palestine, the USA and Switzerland.
 
Liv holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Conflict Resolution and Management of the Ben Gurion University of the Negev (Beer Sheva/Israel). She also holds a B.A. and M.A. in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies (Geneva/Switzerland) as well as a Masters of Arts in Law and Diplomacy and a Certificate in Human Security from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Boston/USA).
