United Nations General Assembly Resolution 2254 (1967)

A resolution adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 14 July 1967 by a vote of 99 For, 0 Against, 18 Abstaining, 5 Absent. It followed Resolution 2253, adopted ten days previously, which denounced Israel's activities in Jerusalem following the Six Day War and called on it to refrain from further actions affecting the political status of the city. The resolution deplored Israel's non-compliance with Resolution 2253 and reiterated the call to maintain the status quo in Jerusalem.
